GCSL Week 4 Results

The county has published the rankings as of this week's meets for individual and relay top times. I am going to break down how the GCSL Championshiop (which you will hear referred to as "County" or the "County Meet" most often) works and why we need your RSVP as soon as possible for both this week's meet and the county meet (even if you are not going, we just need to know if you would be in town and available to come if needed).

County Merch Pre-sale:

The pre-sale merch window is small this year, running to just 06/23 (Monday). This is so we can get everything sent to the teams before the meet, but there will be plenty for sale there as well! Here is the link:

County Championship Schedule & Location

• Weekend of July 11-13
• Location: Georgia Tech Aquatic Center (McAuley Aquatic Center)
• Friday, July 11: 15 & Up (evening)
• Saturday, July 12: 9/10 (morning), 13/14 (evening)
• Sunday, July 13: 8 & Under (morning), 11/12 (evening)

Who Attends County

• Swimmers who have made at least one Top 50 finish in individual events
• Swimmers needed for relays (all teams get to bring a medley and freestyle relay for each gender and age group; the rankings are just for creating competitive heats).
• PLEASE NOTE: Swimmers can only swim 3 individual events, so swimmers who have up to 5 Top 50 times drop two events, and that gives them others in the Top 100 to fall into place in the Top 50. That is what we send that report out and have you RSVP :)
• ADDITIONALLY: Based on the RSVP and number of swimmers in each age group that come to county from our team, we may need to pull someone who has RSVP and not made the Top 50 to help us on the relay teams. 

County Practices:

We will release a final schedule later this week, but we traditionally combine practice times for county since it is quite a smaller group and have 3 time slots for practice for the two weeks leading into the county championship after the last meet of the regular season. They will still be in the morning, just moved up so we do not start so early.
